“I just love Jacob’s Well…I just wish there was more I could do to help, to feel more a part of the exciting things she is doing for my community.” Maybe that’s you? Maybe you have been at The Well for years or only weeks and would love to find a way to do more? To meet more hearts that share your love for The Well and her vision? Well your search is over!
As you’re probably already aware, Jacob’s Well is in the middle of a one of the most exciting game-changing projects in her history. When complete, her first ministry facility at 222 Mitchell Dr in Plano will be a tool that will facilitate the future expansion of her capacity to serve and minister to surrounding communities. Because Jacob’s Well is so passionate about being a blessing to others you can be sure this facility will be used to do just that. And you can also be certain that every hour you spend to help us complete the build-out of her ministry areas is, in a sense, an hour spent serving all the surrounding communities.
Whether you have an hour to spare or a whole day we would love to match your availability and abilities to whatever needs to be done. There is still plenty of opportunity to help with sweeping, painting, staining, cleaning, electrical, plumbing as well as carpentry-type of work or even fixing a lunch for the workers on any given day. Just let us know what you can do and we will be happy to get you connected.
Many have found that through volunteering at the facility, adults and children alike are able to feel valued, acquire new skills, and develop a better understanding of others. It’s also a great way for parents to spend more time with their kids, passing on important values, and sharing meaningful conversations in a positive environment while serving one another.
No matter what your skill-level, there is a place for you. No job is considered a nobler one than that which is done for the right reason, with the right heart and the right motive. Brad Schleifer (630.546.4209) or Jay Rossi (815.878.7285) are eager to help you become a part of Jacob’s Well.
