Daniel was way more than the guy who survived a den of hungry lions!
Travel back to Babylon and join Daniel–torn from his home and forced into the king’s service. Imagine the pressure of learning a new language and culture…and the shock of discovering your best friends have been tossed into a fiery furnace. Explore exotic sights and smells in a Babylonian bazaar! Kids will find that they’re not much different from Daniel and his friends, who kept their faith in a faithless culture. This teaching series runs each Sunday at 10:30am from April 15-May 13.

Splash!jr and Splash! assemble for a multi-sensory learning environment in a large group/small group format where one main Bible Point is presented. We employ the learning philosophy developed by Group Publishing, Inc, called the REAL Learning Philosophy. This learning philosophy instructs children Relational (Allowing time for relationship building between children and between child and leader, through discussion and other team building activities), Experiential (Not just hearing about the lesson, but experiencing the lesson through interactive drama, science experiments, and any other learning opportunity where the senses are involved), Applicable (Making sure that children not only know the Bible lesson but can apply it to their everyday life, by teaching that application and allowing time for brainstorming ways that the Bible Point can be lived out), and Learner-Based (Teaching kids in a variety of methods so that no matter what their specific learning style and educational needs they can grasp the Bible Point. Christy’s Vision for the Children’s Ministries
My vision for the Children’s Ministries is the same as that of Jacob’s Well:
To live, learn and lead others to “The Better Way.” As far as my vision for where I see this ministry going? I dream of this ministry expanding far beyond Sunday morning and into the week. This would be by providing ministries like a homework club for the children of our area with volunteers with specific giftedness and knowledge on everything from math to reading/language arts to science and social studies. Other possibilities would be Theater Arts Camps during the summer months, Vacation Bible Schools/Camps, Fall and Spring Events, Parenting Workshops, Piano/Vocal Lessons and anything else God may bring to our minds that can be used by Him to influence and provide for our area with the love and grace of Christ.
